What is HIV?

HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It’s associated with AIDS and attacks the immune system, making us vulnerable to opportunistic infections such as pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, cervical cancer, vaginitis, cerebral infections, etc. HIV is transmitted during unprotected sex, when sharing used injection materials and from mother to child during birth and through breastmilk.

A few tips
Don’t lend your tooth brush or razor, because you risk catching hepatitis or HIV through the tiny lesions on your skin or in your mouth.

If you have sex, demand that a condom be used before any activity. Just like money matters, condoms are harder to negotiate when the client has a boner. Don’t give in if your client insists on having unprotected sex. Cancel the date. Give him his money back, according to how long you spent together and services already rendered and leave.
