From Émilie Laliberté, our new General Coordinator

Hello dear members, partners and allies,

It is with pleasure, energy and devotion to the cause, that I have accepted the position of Stella's General Coordinator. I wish to thank the board of directors of the organization and the team for the trust they have shown by offering me these responsibilities. It is an honour for me to serve the mission of Stella, a mission which I hold close to my heart and for which I am ready to face new challenges.

Coming from the industry, where I have worked over 10 years and being part of Stella’s community for almost six years, I understand the diversity of sex workers and their various needs. These life and work experiences feed my analysis and will surely be useful in my work. I am, of course, in a learning process, but it is with a fervent desire to challenge myself and develop new skills that I take this mandate.

It is with strength, diplomacy and pride that we will continue to bring the voices of sex workers in several instances, always keeping the mission of Stella at the heart of our discourse.

It is obviously with the support of my team and my board, as committed and motivated than me, that we'll move forward the future and keep Stella shining.
